Taylor & Ortiz, P.A. was established to provide personalized, efficient and cost effective representation to construction companies and other business owners.

The principals, Kevin J. Taylor and Leonardo N. Ortiz, have combined, over 25 years of commercial and construction related litigation experience. Both Mr. Taylor and Mr. Ortiz have years of experience guiding their clients through the contracting process, whether in construction or other commercial settings, and helping their clients avoid claims, as well as experience in contract drafting and general business advice.

Prior to forming Taylor & Ortiz, P.A. both Mr. Taylor and Mr. Ortiz were partners in larger law firms specializing in construction law, as well as being very active in the construction industry trade groups and legal associations. With this background the firm is able to provide clients with the expertise and quality of a large law firm combined with the personal attention and responsiveness of a small firm.

The firm’s goal is to provide personalized, efficient and effective services at reasonable costs not found, or available, in large law firms. This philosophy enables the firm to explore alternative billing scenarios.
